Gary & Rosa Hoover joined Aztec Recreation in 2012 because they wanted they wanted to stay active and live well. When they purchased their home in the college area they knew that having a connection to the SDSU campus would be important to them.
The Hoovers are regular visitors at the Aquaplex, swimming six or seven days a week on regular basis. They love the easy facility access, cleanliness, and most importantly the staff members who make them feel welcome and create a positive experience whenever they visit.
Gary and Rosa also use the ARC and often bring their children and grandchildren to play. They appreciate the variety of activities, like bowling and tennis, and the open hours. They find the activities as a great way to spend time with family members.
In addition to Aztec Recreation both Gary and Rosa enjoy going to concerts, athletic competitions, and other campus events at SDSU. Being Aztec Recreation members has helped them feel connected to the university and help both Gary and Rosa continue to enjoy their retirement years.
